Great location, great hosts, great break and great value for money. The facilities were really good. Decent size bathroom and bedroom. Comfy bed and everything you could possibly need for your stay. The breakfast was fantastic, especially the sausages and black pudding. The hosts were so lovely and full of great conversation. On site parking was a bonus too. Great location. Nothing to not like. This is a perfect stay. Just wish we stayed longer.Helen on Booking.com, Oct 2023

Booked at last minute as wanted overnight break on our way up to and back from Scotland. More than helpful to accommodate us. Tony and Christine are the most genuine and friendly hosts. The rooms are very comfortable and the breakfast was better than we've had in a 4โ hotel ! You wont come away hungry! So friendly and home from home would definitely recommend. Bonus so close to the amenities in Gretna Green. Thank you for an enjoyable stay.Lynda C on Trip Advisor, Sept 2023
Brilliant value and wonderful place to stay.

Visiting family in the area. Due to cycling championships etc in the central belt of Scotland hotel prices were astronomical at the time of our visit and we abandoned our plans. Desperate to see our grandson on his 2nd birthday we widened our search. Hallelujah. We discovered the Kirkcroft. Amazing from start to finish, all 4 nights of our stay. Very friendly and amenable. Nothing a bother whatsoever. Returning soon to visit our family and staying with Tony and Christine. Cannot wait.Elizabeth T on Trip Advisor, Aug 2023
This small guest house was home from home. Very attentive hosts who made us feel very welcome. We stayed here one night as we were travelling home from spending 12 days driving around the NC500 and we couldn't have made a better choice. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable with a large and beautifully decorated en suite. Our dog was also given a warm welcome and Chris and Tony gave her access to their garden. Fresh home cooked breakfast was a perfect start to the day. We would definitely recommend this guest house. Thank you - Chris and Tony.Joanne on Booking.com, Aug 2023
Tony and Christine were very welcoming and went out of their way to make our stay perfect. The room was lovely and clean, the most comfortable bed and lovely little additional touches. Thank you for a lovely stay.
We will definitely be back. Mark on Booking.com, July 2023
Fabulous B&B. new owners Tony & Christine made us feel very at home. Nicely refurbed and close to all the Gretna wedding locations, oh and a superb breakfast (unless you have a huge appetite - ask for a small one lol). Many thanks, and if ever back in the area this will be our 1st call.tmac267 on Trip Advisor, July 2023
The breakfast was really nice ๐and our bikes secure overnight, and a bonus our clothes where dried for us after a wet day on the bike, much appreciated. David on Booking.com, July 2023
A lovely place to stay. We really have enjoyed our few days here. The rooms were clean, comfortable with good attention to detail. Breakfast was tasty and freshly cooked. We will have no hesitation in recommending it to others.Julia and Tom, Dublin (From visitors book)
We really enjoyed our stay, perfect location for the blacksmiths shop and the outlet shopping centre. Great having a carpark at the rear of the B&B, our room was on the ground floor at the front of the B&B there was no noise from the road and railway which was lovely. Room was beautifully decorated and the en-suite and power shower was brilliant. Full breakfast to set you up for the day ahead. We were shown to our room and given details of places to eat for the evening. We would definitely recommend and save as one of favourite places to stay.Mr & Mrs Grant, London (From laterooms.com)
We made a rather late decision to stay at The Kirkcroft when our plans changed, and what a good choice it was. From our arrival, where we were met at the door and shown to our room, to our departure 2 nights later, everything was exemplary. The room was vast, and the bed was extraordinarily comfortable. All the usual tv, tea & coffee, biscuits etc were present. The breakfasts were so much more than adequate. All sorts of cereal and fruit juice, and toast to occupy yourself until the Scottish breakfast appeared. A choice was offered and we were invited to choose any or all of the items. All in all a brilliant, and so relaxing place to stay.Chris W, Cirencester (From laterooms.com)
We found this nice B&B near the Blacksmiths Shop. The owners were very helpful to store our bicycles and dry our laundry. The room and annex bathroom are spacious and well equipped. Breakfast was excellent.Michel, Belgium (From tripadvisor.com)
The room size and the attention to every little detail with regard to everything you might need during a stay was excellent Both bedroom and bathroom were tastefully decorated and spotlessly clean as was the dining room. Breakfast was freshly prepared with a choice to suit all tastes.John and Helen, Aberdeen (From booking.com)
